Easy Holiday Cookie Hack

So I had a holiday party to go to and needed to bring a batch of my favorite holiday cookies.

I thought for 2 seconds about making these amazing cookies from scratch and then I remembered I'm a mom and I ain't got no time for that!

So I loaded Jack up in the car and off to Trader Joe's we went. I grabbed two bags of their vegan chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I had to go to a different store for the vegan chocolate chips and I had candy canes at home so I was set.

I decided to melt the chocolate chips and dip half of the cookies in and sprinkle with crushed candy cane. Boom. Done. Delicious.

These taste amazing and they are super festive!

What you need:

2 bags of vegan cookies from TJ's

1 bag of vegan chocolate chips

3 candy canes

Wax paper

Directions:

Heat the bag of chocolate chips in a double boiler or what I did sinceI don't have one is boiled a pot of water and then placed a metal mixing bowl on top of the boiling water and then stir the chocolate chips until they were all melted.

Dip half of the cookie in the chocolate and lay on the wax paper. Then take a pinch of the crushed candy cane and sprinkle on the chocolate part of the cookie.

Refrigerate when done and the chocolate will harden.

Easy, festive and yummy!
