DIY Sanitizing Spray
Ahh something us moms can come together on, sanitizing. I had no idea how much hand sanitizer would come into my life until you see children sneeze, cough, and sometimes even pee on the playground.
Shit gets very real when your child comes down with Hand Foot Mouth among other cute little viruses.
So I buy the babyganics hand sanitizer that is alcohol free, you can find it here. I use that when we leave the park, but what about at home?
I wanted something safe that I could spray on the countertops and Jack’s toys without worry so I was relieved to find out about this diy essential oil sanitizer.
I just had my girlfriend Marah on the blog, see here, and she shared this amazingness with me.
All you need is a glass spray bottle, water, and 3-4 drops of OnGuard essential oil. You can use thieves oil if you have that. OnGuard kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria so I’m super confident using it to sanitizer and clean around the house.
To use on toys simply spray and let it set and walk away. Boom!
I use it on my countertops and let it sit for a minute or so then wipe it up!
I also periodically spray it on the toilet handles and bathroom doorknobs and let it set.
BEST PART?? Is it smells so good on top of the SAFE sanitizing properties!
Win win! If you want to get your hands on this oil you can email me at Natalie@themodernmamahood.com or message Marah on Instagram and tell her TMM sent you!
Happy Safe Sanitizing Mama!
