Baked Garlic Artichokes
Hey mama! How are you?
Lately I've been really craving artichokes, like I see them in the store and start drooling.
I should also mention that I love garlic so I decided to cook them in a way that I haven't done before.
I decided to bake the artichokes in the oven to get that all around tender taste in each leaf.
Here is what you'll need:
Extra virgin olive oil
3 Cloves garlic
Pesto Bitchin Sauce (for dipping)
Cut the artichokes in half. Then take a small spoon and remove the middle "hairy" part of the artichoke.
Place the artichokes in a baking pan and drizzle olive oil on top. I mince my garlic cloves and place on top of the artichokes. Then add salt, 1 tbs of thyme, and pepper to your taste preference.
Then place foil over the top of the baking dish placing the artichokes facing down.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
You can place the artichoke halves on a plate and serve right away with the pesto flavored Bitchin Sauce.
THEY ARE SO YUM! PLUS the Bitchin Sauce is a perfect dipping sauce!
