I think we can all agree that no matter how much you "bounce back" or take 2 years to bounce back, our body is never the same again. After child, that is.
There's a lot of focus on getting that "pre baby body back", but honestly you really don't. Sure I bet there are some mamas that go right back to before. Yay, we all hate you, just kidding.
But for a lot of us, it's a process and it's a lot of hard fucking work to get things back to the way they were.
This is where I feel like we sell ourselves short as women. We just grew a person inside of us and then brought them into the world. That's an absolute miracle, and should be worn like a badge of honor, not something you hide with a baggy blouse.
Society tells us we should look a certain way and have/buy certain things...
By all means if it makes you feel good, then do it, absolutely.
I just never want anyone to feel like they have to do certain things or look a certain way because that is "popular".
We are all at different stages in our motherhood and our bodies are as well.
Immediately I thought, could this be something Jack's friends google later and it totally mortify him? Then I remembered he's one. But, still, I'm a mom at the end of the day so I wanted it to be something beautiful.
Let me just say I am so blown away with how beautiful and empowering these photos turned out.
As a mom it it is hard to love your body again after childbirth because things aren't as perky as they once were. My boobs shrunk 2 sizes after nursing! My butt could use a facelift, I'm sure. But at the end of the day, I love this body and I'm very proud of all we've been through.
When I look at my son it's all worth it.
I honestly have never felt sexier and it's all thanks to Fiona.
And to say my husband is excited about these pics is an understatement.
Fiona has graciously given me the opportunity to offer you $300 off of the sitting fee and 20% off of any album, box or framed prints with the code: FLAWLESSMAMA
Her boudoir portfolio is something I'm so proud to be a part of, and to share with all the mamas who deserve to feel sexy in the skin they're in!
